Passed peacefully away at her late residence, Coley’s Point, on Thursday, July 09, 2009, Mrs. L. Viola Colbourne of Coley’s Point, aged 75 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Colbourne, parents Caleb and Sarah Branton (nee Thorne). Leaving to mourn spouse Charlie Russell; son Paul Colbourne; daughter Bradalee Colbourne (David Dowswell); sisters Florence (Brendan) Lynch, Irene (Bob) Boynton; brothers Rayfield (Grace) Branton; Doug (Marilyn) Branton; Leslie (Doreen) Branton, Eldridge Branton; Eric (Jocelyn) Branton, Harvey (Pauline) Branton; Russell children Kevin (Angela); Jeff (Coralee); Russell grandchildren Colby, Conor, Troy, Trent, Taylon; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Grace United Church, Coley’s Point. Visitation Thursday 3-5 p.m., 6-10 p.m.; Friday 10-4 p.m. Further visitation on Saturday 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 10-12 Noon at Woolfrey’s Funeral Home, Lewisporte. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from St. Matthew’s United Church, Lewisporte. Interment in the St. Matthew’s United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte.
