We, the family of the late Gabe Andrea, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our relatives, friends and neighbours for the love and support shown to us during our recent bereavement. We are most grateful for the food sent to our homes, the phone calls, the expressions of condolence, the flowers, the Mass cards and sympathy cards and the memorial and charitable donations. Special thanks to Gabe’s brother, Fr. Jake for his many visits and for leading us in prayer at the hospitals, at the funeral home and for presiding at the funeral mass. As well, thanks to Fr. Thomas John Valiaveetil, Fr. Ajit Kerketta, Fr. Vern Boutilier, Fr. Angus MacDougall and Fr. Sandy MacNeil for concelebrating in the funeral liturgy. To the musicians – Sharon Iannetti and the Immaculate Conception choir for the beautiful hymn selections and singing throughout mass. Special thanks to Raylene Rankin and Stewart MacNeil for the very moving rendition of “Ave Maria”. To our readers, niece Claire and brother Tony, altar servers Greg Murphy, Carol MacKay and Geraldine Walker, your participation in the mass was very much appreciated. To the Immaculate Conception CWL, we express our gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful reception you catered. To the Immaculate Conception Parish bereavement team your comfort and support was appreciated. We extend our thanks and appreciation to the emergency department at the Northside General Hospital and the ICU medical team at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital whose kindness, compassion and professionalism was outstanding. Special thanks to Dr. Michel McKeough and Louise for the excellent care shown to Gabe over the years. We are very thankful to each and every person who touched our lives during this time. Your consolation, support and love eased our burden. We are grateful to you all.
