1929 - 2011 - Moncton - Evangéline Gauvin, 81, suddenly passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011. Born in Bouctouche on June 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Elise (LeBlanc) Duplessis. Evangéline will sadly be missed by her four daughters, Dorice Ross ( Dave) of Markham, ON, Diane Parker (Darrel) of Fredericton, Bernice Melanson (Robert) and Jeannette Dupuis (Tony) both of Moncton; her three sons, Eugène Gauvin (Jeanne Bernard), Charles Gauvin (Denise Poirier) and Gilles Gauvin (Bonnie) all of Moncton; also sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alyre Gauvin in 1973.
In respect to Evangéline’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Passage Chapel, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Thursday, February 17th at 7 pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
