The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 of Brent David Gallant of Summerside and formerly of Hockley, England, aged 63 years. Brent was born on Feb. 23, 1947 in O’Leary, P.E.I. to his late parents, Orell and Winnie (nee Ball) Gallant. Beloved father of Jonathan of Summerside, Samantha of Charlottetown and Tracey, Sharon (Tom) and Jamie (Claudia) all of Essex, England. Also lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Derrick, Wesley, Terry and Tony, all of Essex England. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside where visiting hours will take place on Friday, Feb. 18, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Brent’s Life will take place at a later date in Essex, England.
