Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre on February 13, 2011, Jean E.C. Lewis, age 91 years. Predeceased by young brother Gordon C. (1932), father George G.S. (1949), mother Emily E. (1965) and brother Kenneth G.C. (2004). Leaving to mourn many relatives and friends in Britain and also many friends in Canada. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation or St. John Ambulance (Newfoundland and Labrador Division).
There is a calm for those who weep
