Passed away in the presence of his Lord and Saviour at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at the age of 64 years. Predeceased by father: William John, father-in-law: Isaac; mother-in-law: Mary Chambers. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 40 years: Elizabeth "Betty"; sons: Jason (Stephanie) and Darrin (Georgina); granddaughters: Grace and Faith, as well as his third grandchild: Hope (to arrive in April); mother Joyce Martin; brother: Herb (Wendy); sisters: Bonnie (Garry Cranford), Phyllis (Carl Hillier); brother-in-law: Cliff Chambers (Winnie); sisters-in-law: Sarah (Gorvin Noseworthy) and Ada; special friend: Aunt Vernie, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 and Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00. Funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, Mount Pearl on Friday, February 18 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
