At Western Hospital, Alberton, on February 15, 2011, of Doris Isabell Dennis (nee MacWilliam), formerly of Knutsford, age 92 years. Wife of the late Edwin Dennis.
Born in West Cape on June 9, 1918, daughter of the late W.N. and Ella (Hopgood) MacWilliam. Dear mother of John (Bev), Cornwall; Olga (Bruce) Gibb, Kingston, ON; and Valerie (Gerry) Lee, Moncton, N.B. Loving grandmother of Bruce Jr. Gibb and Valerie Gibb (Edward Goodfellow), Kingston, ON; Glenn Dennis, Summerside; and Rev. Troy (Jan) Dennis, Moncton, N.B. Great-grandmother of Cody, Kaitlyn, Ian and Mark. Sister of Verna Shea O’Leary. Sister-in-law of Silver Dennis, Knutsford. Special aunt of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by granddaughter, Rebecca; and brother, Elmer.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Friday 2-6 p.m. Funeral on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment later in the Knutsford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Knutsford Cemetery or the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home would be greatly appreciated.
