Feb. 15th, 1938 - Feb. 15th, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Lewis Hoffman on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 after a long struggle with Parkinson's, at the age of 73 years.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Dorothy, daughters Jo-Ann (Peter) Giesbrecht of Perdue, Sask. and Deborah (Gene) Kozowy of Kamloops, BC, as well as grandchildren Matthew and Raymond.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Gordon, Allan and Neil.

Ray was a devoted husband, wonderful Dad and a "cool Grandpa". Matthew and Raymond looked upon him more as a Dad than a grandfather. He instilled his love for Jehovah in his daughters and grandsons. He drove logging trucks since he was 15 years old and never lost his love for driving. He spent many enjoyable hours with his son-in-law Gene, just "shooting the breeze". He will be missed by all.

"Dad, you will always be our hero."

Special thanks to Dr. Mosewich and Dr. Kruger, the caregivers at Hospice and Homecare givers, as well as to Ray and Dorothy's neighbours, the Hayners, Tooveys and Whites, and especially to all in our congregation who came to visit us and gave us support and encouragement.

There will be no formal service by request.
