Margaret Black of Kamloops/Monte Lake, B.C. passed away from natural causes on February 17th, 2011.

Margaret was born in Cultus Lake, B.C. on May 20, 1916. She lived most of her adult years in the Interior of B.C. She moved to a cattle ranch in Monte Lake in 1968 where she lived until she retired.

She is survived by one sister Elizabeth Chapman of Phoenix, AZ; two sons Edgar and Ivan Halvorson; one grandson and four great-grandchildren.

Her long and productive life is something to be envied by all. She will be missed. We will be forever influenced by her strength, wisdom and love.
