TRAVERSE, James (Jim) – Passed peacefully away at the Walter Templeton Hospital on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at the age of 74. Predeceased by his father James and mother Ellen. Leaving to mourn one sister Elizabeth (Betty) Fitzgerald; one son Jimmy (Brenda); 2 grandsons: Kyle and Brendan Cahill; nephews: Brendan Fitzgerald (Michaeline) Walter Fitzgerald (Daphane); nieces: Colleen Decker (Cec), Helena Chafe (Terry), Michelle Rennie (Dominic), Trudy Greenslade (Charlie), Annette Eby (Chris); 16 great-nieces and nephews and 5 great-great nieces and nephews. Also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at his residence on Bell Island, visitation Friday Feb 18th 10:00 am - 11:00 pm, Saturday Feb 19th 10-12. Funeral mass to take place at 2:00 pm Feb 19th, 2011, Immaculate Conception Church, Interment to follow, R.C. Cemetary. Donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
