1921 - 2011 - Marie Legere, 89, of Foyer St-Thomas, Memramcook and formerly of Dieppe, NB passed away on Saturday, February 19th, 2011, at her residence. Born in Memramcook East, NB, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Emma (née: Sonier) Cormier. Mrs. Legere had been a member of La Legion de Marie; the C.W.L.; the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and Ste-Thérèse parish. She is survived by two sisters: Agathe MacDonald of Halifax, NS and Anna Milette of Magog, QC; one brother, Dismas Cormier of Memramcook as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred in 1983; one daughter, Janet; twin sons: Ronald and Donald; six sisters: Agnes, Betty, Phyllis, Eugenie, infants: Bernadette and Yvonne, also by two brothers: Aimé and Hervé.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 at 11 am.
