At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, July 9, 2009, of Lorna J. (Warren) Heffell of Douglas St., Kensington, and formerly of Travellers Rest, aged 85 years. Born in Clinton on July 12, 1923, daughter of the late William H. and Annie (MacKay) Warren. Wife of the late James Heffell and sister of the late Reginald Warren. She is survived by first cousins Jessie Dow, Elaine Diamond, Jeannine MacKinnon, Malcolm Campbell, Louis Campbell, Edythe Cole, Ralph Whitehead, Hazel Large, Doris Wallis and Phyllis Snowie. Sisters-in-law Stella MacKay, Marjorie Somers and Jean (Roy) Ramsay. Predeceased by first cousins Shirley Orr, Ewen, Elric, Millar and Gordon Campbell, Jean Hickox and by the following sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Gertrude Finnegan, Dorothy Germain, Hilda Leard, Mary Ellen Burns, Harry, John and William Heffell. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Kensington Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
