It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Jarvis announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 74 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Barbara and one son, Derek (Nicole) Jarvis of Lloydminster, Alberta and one brother, Gordon (Valerie) Jarvis of Alma, Nova Scotia, one sister-in-law, Joan Jarvis of Springville, Nova Scotia, three grandchildren: Jayla, Coryn, Sean and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Jarvis, one son in infancy and brother, Brian Jarvis. Cremation has taken place and friends may call at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s on Wednesday, February 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s. Interment will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville.
