A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all who called or visited during Dad's brief illness and those who came to offer a hug, warm words, and deep condolences at the wake. We appreciated so much all the gifts of food, flowers, donations and beautiful cards. Special thanks to pallbearers Jason and Steven Fortune. Tommy and Ian Morris, Ray Schaller, and John Ratchford. Thanks also to Fr. Francis Cameron for filling in for Fr. Paul Abbass on short notice, but still offering up a memorable and personal service. We are also very grateful for the care Dad received at CBRH ER and CCU Staff, 5E at NSG and the Halifax Infirmary 6.4, 6.1 and 5.1 We are deeply grateful to Patsy Smith for writing a wonderful poem catching Ian's (Dad's) life in verse. We are moved by the kind and compassionate care offered to us at this sad time by the staff of Dooley's Funeral Home.
