Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, Shirley A. Chubbs of Carbonear, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband Joseph; daughter Laura. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Donna (Peter) Dooley, Carbonear and Cathy (Derek) Oates, Corner Brook; two sons: Glenn (Wanda), Mount Pearl and Lloyd (Loriann), Carbonear; six grandchildren: Chastity (Andrew), Brian, Cheryl, Rebecca, Chelsea and Claire; one great-granddaughter Ella; one brother Chester Murray, Carbonear; three sisters: Helen Barrett, Carbonear, Irene (Edward) Taylor and Maxine Seymour, both of Harbour Grace; sister-in-law Nita Chubbs, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 23rd. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear.
