Bernice F. Grant of Canterbury, New Brunswick passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1926 at Fosterville, NB. Daughter of the late John and Mary (O’Hearn) Wood. She is survived by her husband Russell Grant. Two daughters Bonnie Jones (Larry Davidson) of Canterbury, Marlene (Jeff) Kitchen of Fredericton, NB, Two sons Lewis & Diane Grant of Temperance Vale, NB, Phillip Grant of Canterbury. Ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Several Nieces and nephews. Sisters, Leona Collier and Barbara Carpenter (Bob) both of Houlton, Maine, Geraldine & Ralph Grant of Canterbury, NB. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters Maxine Foster and Effie Wood and two brothers Hollis Wood and Earle Wood.
Visitation from The Culberson Funeral Home on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services to be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from The Culberson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Allison Buckingham and Pastor Trevor Savage officiating. Interment at the Canterbury Cemetery in the Spring. If so desired, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Red Cross.
