The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home on Friday, July 10, 2009, of Mrs. Marie E. (nee Cummings) Greenan of Charlottetown in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Leo Greenan and dear mother of Leah Greenan of Charlottetown. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Marie Greenan. Predeceased by her parents Dr. John D. and Margaret (nee Campbell) Cummings; brothers-in-law Leonard and Freddie Greenan and sister-in-law Eileen Smith. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 Monday morning then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. Lung Association or the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. No visitation by personal request.
