JAMIESON, Arthur (Sonny) Leon, 74, of Truro, died peacefully on February 23, 2011 at the Colchester Regional Hospital. Born in Belmont, he was the son of the late Arthur and Leona (Roode) Jamieson. He worked as a travelling salesman for T. S. Pattillo, then as a general contractor. He is survived by his son Stephen and wife Catherine, Bridgewater, his beloved grandchildren, David and Meghan, his sister, Fern and husband, Boyd Underhill and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ada (Blenkhorn), his daughter Deborah Lee Chapman, his brother Ira, and his nephew Harold. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 25 from 1-2 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. A service of celebration will be held directly following the visitation at 2 pm with Dr. Brian Ross officiating. Family flowers only please.
