1926-2011 - Néri Jaillet, 85 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Bouctouche Bay, passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Sunday, February 20th, 2011. He was married to the late Alice (Poirier) Jaillet (2008). Born in Bouctouche Bay on February 6, 1926 he was the son of the late Norbert and the late Hélène (Savoie) Jaillet. He will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Rosemonde Gallant (Antoine) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, and Jacqueline Cormier (Fernand) of Saint-Antoine, and two grandchildren, Sylvie and Bernard. He also leaves to mourn one brother Donat of Sainte-Anne de Kent and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one son Bernard, two sisters, Laura and Edmée and four brothers, Alphonse, Omer, Gérard, and Livain.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 at 7:00 pm with internment in the parish cemetery. In Néri’s memory donations can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche (506-743-7344) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
