Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 24, 2011, age 78 yrs. of Long Pond, CBS. Predeceased by parents Robert and Annie Jefford, sisters Rita, Muriel, Winnie and Hilda, brothers, William, Samuel, Robert and James, grandson Joseph. Leaving to mourn his wife Lillian (Norman); daughter Barbara Tucker (Wayne); sons: Howard (Nola) and Clyde (Patricia); beloved grandchildren: Mark (Susan), Christa (Andy), Christopher (Jenny), Graham, Bradley and Trevor; great-granddaughter Gabrielle; step-grandchildren: Jason, Leslie (Stephen), Daniel and Marianne. Also nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many close friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday 7-9 p.m., Saturday 2-4 and 7-9, Sunday 10-12 noon.
