The death of Eva L. Lawson, beloved wife of the late Robert George Lawson, occurred on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1928 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Violet (Wilson) Humphrey. She is survived by her children Robert J. “Keith” Lawson of Saint John, Terry (Blaine) Laskey of Saint John, Pam (Fred) Smith of Long Reach, David Lawson of Quispamsis and Rod (Anna) Lawson of Grand Bay-Westfield; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy “Dottie” Dixon of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Bruce Alexander Lawson, brother James Humphrey and sisters May Kincade, Elizabeth Parks and Bernice Walton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424). Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday February 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery at a later date.
