DOUCETTE, Georgina Cassie – 65, Tidal View Manor, Yarmouth, formerly of Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 in the manor. Born December 2, 1945 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Leon and Marie Thérèse (Saulnier) Doucette. Georgina enjoyed music and spent much of her time cutting paper. She is survived by a brother, John (Rosealla) Doucette, a niece, Carmen (Ron) Thibeau and a nephew, Shawn (Anne) Doucette, grand nephews, Jonathan and Mark, all of Wedgeport, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation took place from 7-9 Tuesday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass was held on Wednesday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m., Father Gregory Sampson c.j.m. officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
