Surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home, the death of Gemma (Robichaud) Teed, wife of the late Ernest Leroy (Roy) Teed, occurred on Thursday, February 24, 2011.
Gemma was born in Neguac, NB, on September 8, 1922 to the late Arthur Allain and Louisa Robichaud. She was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church.
Gemma, or "MA" as she was known to all, is survived by four sons, Ron Teed (Nancy Anderson), Gary Teed (Leslie) and Wayne Teed (Nancy), all of Moncton, and Brian Teed, of Charlottetown, PEI; two daughters, Brenda Teed (Gilles Lavoie), of Moncton and Joan Mason (Don), of Fredericton, NB; ten grandchildren whom she adored and doted upon, Mark Teed (Jamie), Andrea Boudreau (Martin), Jennifer McKinnon, Katherine Teed, Jennifer Miller (Jeannie Bourgeois), Christopher Miller, Julie Lavoie, Matthew Mason, Daniel Mason and Alex Mason; five beautiful great-grandchildren who brought her such joy, Ethan and Logan Boudreau, Molly Teed, Eric and Alyssa Bourgeois; two sisters, Yvonne Roussel (Gus) and Theresa Robichaud; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, "MA" was predeceased by three brothers, Roland, Raymond and Ronald Robichaud.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St., Moncton on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Botsford St., Moncton on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating.
For those who wish, remembrances to their preferred charity would be appreciated by the family.
Interment will held in the spring at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
