Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Chancellor Park on February 24, 2011, Ches Moore, aged 84 years. Predeceased by brothers Alex and Ralph, sisters Violet Clarke, Millicent Hollett and Florence Moores, sisters-in-law Daphne Alcock and Lillian Hutton and son-in-law Bill O’Reilly. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara; daughters: Heather Moore, Daphne Williams (Joe), Janet O’Reilly, Libby Moore (Geoff Duffett) and Sarah Mills (Fred); grandchildren: Joseph, Erin and Matthew Williams, Denise Bartlett and Michael O’Reilly; brother Robert Moore (Rosemary); sister Mabel Matuska, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Drs. Crocker, O’Shea and Kylie and the wonderful staff of Chancellor Park for their love and extraordinary care. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will take place from St. James United Church on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
