We, the family of the late Charles Mac Kinnon wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all our family, friends and neighbors for the kindness, love and support shown to us during our recent loss. Thank you to the nursing staff and doctors of the Victoria County Memorial Hospital in Baddeck, the ladies from Respite Care, Continuing Care and Home Support. Special thanks to Lee, Heather, Morgan and Connor Mac Innis, Marilyn Matheson, Wayne Sealy, Slick Osmond and Wayne and Louise Mac Kenzie for all your help and kindness. To those who attended the funeral, phoned, sent floral arrangements, sympathy cards, mass cards, online condolences, food, memorials and charitable donations your kindness will always be remembered. Thank you to Rev. Donna Tourneur for the beautiful service, to the choir and organist for the lovely selections and the UCW for the delicious lunch after the funeral. To the pallbearers, long time friends of Charles, Gussie Mac Calder, Billy Campbell, Willard Fraser, Lloyd Northen, Eugene “Slick” Osmond, and Wayne Mac Kenzie a sincere thank you. To Billy Campbell for the opening and closing of Charles’ final resting place, thank you. We also thank the Iona Volunteer Fire Dept. for the Honor Guard. Thank you to John Langley of Haverstock Funeral Homes for you kind and professional care.
