The death of Dorothy Marie Bosco of Saint John, NB, occurred on Sunday February 27, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 21, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Edna (Brookins) Crannie. Dorothy is survived by her son, Kevin Crannie of Toronto; two sisters, Jean (Reg) Peters of Sussex, NB and Margaret Crannie (Bob Mosher) of Niagara Falls; loving caregiver, Theresa (Peter) Harris; best friend, Hazel Dow, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and sister, Evelyn Ferron.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Wednesday March 2, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday March 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment in St Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
