It is with great sadness that the family of the late Catherine Louise Farwell announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday July 12, 2009 at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Roland of 49 years, daughter Sharon (Rick) Pennell of Stephenville, son Brian (Julie) of Fort St. John BC., grandchildren; Christopher and Bradley Pennell, Kaitlyn, Emma and Mary Beth Farwell, brothers; William (Ele) Beck of Manitoba, Ralph Beck of St. Lawrence, Harris Beck of St. Lawrence, sisters; Bertha (Rupert) Lawrence of St. Lawrence, Ruth (Byran) Grills of Ontario, brothers-in-law; Theodore Farwell of Port aux Choix, Melvin (Ivy) Farwell of Gander, sisters-in-law; Millicent Billard of Port aux Choix, Rita Farwell of Port aux Choix, Sadie Farwell of Norris Point as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Isabelle Beck, her sister Maxine, brothers Hubert, Thomas Llewelyn, Lloyd, Llewelyn (Lew). Visitation will be held on Monday July 13, 2009 from 7-9 P.M., Tuesday July 14, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday July 15, 2009 from 10 – 12 a.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday July 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael’s Anglican Church Park Drive with Rev. Druggett officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Michael’s Anglican Church Fund or to a charity of one’s choice.
