It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nina Marie Samms announce her passing at her family residence, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with many precious, loving memories, her sons: John (Debbie) Samms, Jim (Tracey) Samms; grandchildren: Patrick Samms, Nicole Samms, Jessica Samms; brother, Nelson (Shirley) Miesseau; sisters: Marion (Al) Pollari, Blanche (Hugh) Davis, Lucy (Cliff) Samms; sister-in-law, Cathy Miesseau, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Agnes Miesseau; husband, John Samms; daughter, Sharon Samms; brothers: Jim, Harold, Tom and George Miesseau. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy, NL, from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Peter Boote officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Codroy. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
