Dad,

Our hearts were broken the day you left,
From Monica, Ryan, to the youngest, Steph,
You meant the world to us nobody could deny,
We were sad when we parted and said goodbye.

We miss you so much no words can describe,
Life isn't the same, the emptiness inside,
Your infectious smile, your loving touch,
Is what we miss so very much.

For now we will go on missing you,
But we will be together again some day,
And the goodbye's that we once dreaded,
We'll never have to say.
