It is with great sadness that the families of the late Norman Donald Moss, of Deer Lake, NL, regret to announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Monday, February 28th, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Pearl (nee Bailey) of 63 years, his children; Florence (Monty Cooper), Linda (Andre' Doucette), Patricia (Don Janes), Clarence (Karen Moss), Debbie (John McNevin) & Jerry Moss, his 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, & 1 great-great grandchild, his siblings; Holly (John Caines), Maxine Hancock, Delores (Doug Cole), Jane (Hazen Janes), Byril (Gord Hutchcraft), Jim (Maxine Moss), & Glynn Moss, father was predeceased by his parents Norman Sr & Rebecca Moss, and his brother Samuel Lush. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, from the hours of 7 - 9 pm, today Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 and continuing on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, March 4th, 2011, at 2 pm, from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Deer Lake with Pastor: Coles officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, at Wights Road, Deer Lake, NL.
