We, the family of the late John Griffiths would like to extend our deepest thanks to all who offered their support to our family in our time of loss. Thank you to Dr. Worth, you were there from the start, never too busy to offer care, a true definition of what a doctor should be. Your kindness will never be forgotten. To all the staff on floors 3 and 4 of Cape Breton Regional Hospital and the numerous doctors and specialists, than you ever so much for your endless care. To the doctors, nurses and staff in Palliative Care, thank you seems too little an expression for all you have done. Your team is dedicated, professional and compassionate beyond compare. God bless each and every one of you. To all our family, friends and neighbours who made memorial donations, phoned, visited, sent flowers, sat with us at the hospital, and made meals for us when we were too tired to cook, thank you so much. Thank you to Pastor Kevin Richardson for officiating a wondrful funeral service, Blanche Cann our organist, combined choirs, Honorary Pallearers, Erna Leadbeater for a beautiful eulogy, Ladies Guild for the luncheon, Wayne and Colin Weatherbee and staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel for making a painful experience easier to bear. We'd also like to thank the Medicine Shoppe for enabling Janet to take the time off work to spend with her father when it was so very important that she be with him, she will always treasure those days with him.
