DILLON, Evelyn Regina (nee Rideout)– December 8, 1926 - October 20, 2008, passed suddenly away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Monday, October 20, 2008, age 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Joe (1987), parents Laura and John Rideout, brothers: Eugene and Woodrow and sister Valerie. Leaving to mourn daughters: Sharon (Jim Hefferton), Frances (Ken Hamlyn), Madonna (Leo Whalen), Angela (Paul Sharr), Catherine (Darin Somers); sons: Joey (Marissa), John, Peter (Alice), Michael (Lisa) and Paul; brother Len (Milley) and sister Mildred; sisters-in-law: Lucy and Helen; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Upon Mom’s request, there will not be a visitation. Funeral Mass on Friday, October 24th at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
