Manny Tobin
We, the family of the late Manny Tobin, wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to our friends, neighbours, our family (some who travelled far to get home), and for all the kind gestures of sympathy at this sad time. To those who sent sympathy cards, Mass cards, memorials, charitable donations, flowers, food, visited our home, attended Dad’s wake and funeral, we sincerely thank you. To everyone who helped make Dad’s funeral a celebration of his life; Fr. Thomas John and Fr. Ajit Kerketta for presiding over the Mass; the readers Danielle Collier and Ashley Tobin; Patricia McGean for her beautiful solo; Justin Cullen, who did the eulogy (Grampy would have been so proud) and to Ashley Tobin for playing the violin (great job). Special thanks to the choir and the C.W.L. for the delicious lunch. Thank you to the Pallbearers; grandsons Jeff Boutilier, Ryan Tobin, Shane Tobin, Justin Cullen, son-in-law Brian Cullen and Chris Collier. A special thank you to Dr. Michel McKeough and Louise who were so good to Dad over the years. To all the nurses of the 4th Floor West, Dr. Poulis, Susan MacKenzie, palliative care workers, Dr. Ritter, Valerie (Red Cross), and Darlene Hall. A very special thank you to all who made Dad’s last few days more comfortable. To Manning Jobes and the staff of J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, thank you for your guidance at this difficult time, and for all the little extra touches Manny, which didn’t go unnoticed. To all those who helped in any way, we are forever grateful.
When a loved one passes, memories linger on,
The memories of those whose lives he touched,
And in being so remembered,
His legacy will live on.
Wife Edith, sons and daughters,
And all the Tobin family.
