At the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, of Audrey Della (nee Dawson) Cooper, of Charlottetown, aged 79 years.
Mother of Carolyn Thomas (Pat), Gordon (Sheila), David (Liz), Janice Forsythe (Allister), Brenda Coffin (Paul), George (Lisa) and Marolyn Avery. Survived by six brothers and five sisters and grandmother of 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by husband, Gordon “Bud” Cooper; son, Donald William; granddaughter, Lori Ann; brother, Melvin; sister, Ruth Spence; and infant siblings, Inez and Alexander.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment later in Clifton Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association (P.E.I.) or the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home.
