Passed peacefully away on March 2, 2011, age 80 years. Predeceased by his daughter Clara and grandson Steven, parents Jack and Clara Lee, brothers Tom and Jim and sister-in-law Patsy. Left to mourn his wife Mary (nee Ryan); sons: Alva Jr. (Eleanor), Eugene (Evelyn); and daughters: Beverley (Kirk) and Mary; nine grandchildren; brother Jackie (Mary); sister-in-law Gertrude, as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 5th at 2 p.m. from St. Joseph’s Church, Petty Harbour. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Petty Harbour.
