September 24, 1936 - March 1, 2011. Passed peacefully away at his home on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer, in the presence of his loving family, David Moore of Dildo, aged 74 years. Predeceased by his brother Leslie. Leaving to mourn with precious memories and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are his loving wife Marion Dorcas (nee Thorne), son Daryl; daughters: Christine (Bob Maher), Pauline (Randy Sharpe); grandchildren: Kimberley and Jennifer Maher, Stacey and Jordan Seward (their father Todd Seward), Chloe and Delaney Sharpe. David is also lovingly remembered by four sisters and five brothers: Lillian Warren (Eldridge), Barbara Wall (Tom), Yvonne Clarke (Ed) and Norma Jones (Derrick), Vic (Verlie), Dan (Linda), Ed (Sylvia), Gerald, Wayne (Lucy); sisters-in-law: Rhoda, Eva (Jim), Janet (Wes), Alfreda (Andrew), Lily (Leonard) and brothers-in-law: Reg (Lily), Ern (Andrea), Bill (Marjorie, deceased), Andy (Hilda), Levi (Shirlene), Lloyd (Gertie) and special friends Mamie and Ray Tiller; as well as a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to niece Sherry Thorne for her loving care and support. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, with visitation on Wednesday, March 2, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 3, 10 a.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from All Saints’ Anglican Church, Dildo, on Thursday, March 3rd at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
