Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor, Placentia on Saturday, July 11, 2009, Florence E. (Butt) Noel of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 81 years. Predeceased by parents: Charles and Laura Butt; husband: Roy; brother: James; sisters: Mabel and Peggy. Leaving to mourn: special granddaughter: Melodie Noel (Ern Parsons), Carbonear; two daughters: Leslie (Bruce) Forward, Carbonear and Lynne (Phil) Priddle, Victoria; two sons: Scott (Doreen) Noel, Burton, N.B. and Peter Noel (Susan Lee-Ayres), Mount Pearl; eight other grandchildren: Bradley (Lynn), Jamie, Stacey (Shawn), Crystal (Adam), Lionel, Kayla, Matthew and Kayla; five great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Mark, Noah, Madison and Spencer; one brother: John (Ruby) Butt, Freshwater, Carbonear; two sisters: Daphne (Bruce) Abbott, Harbour Grace and Cecily (Alex) Bishop, Bedford, N.S.; brothers-in-law: Ted Noel, Freshwater, Carbonear and John Cayer, Wooler, ON; sister-in-law: Lillian Butt, Victoria and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, July 15 at 2 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear.
