The death of James Fowler, 88, of Hanford Brook, NB, husband of the late Dorothy (Kitchen) Fowler, occurred March 2, 2011 at his residence. He was born at his family homestead, son of the late Job and Jennie (Barnes) Fowler. James was a member of St. Peter’s Church, Upham. He was a lifelong farmer. He is survived by four daughters, Gay Fowler (Rolf Pasch), St. Martins, Nancy Herron (Dean Wentzell), Dartmouth, NS, Everleigh Fowler at home, Gerri O’Donnell (Barry), Southfield; one sister, Marguerite Allaby, Shanklin, NB; one brother, Delbert Fowler (Shirley), Salisbury, NB; six grandchildren, two great grandsons, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Lloyd, Marshall and Donald.
Resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held 11:00am, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upham with The Rev. Marian Lucas Jeffries officiating. Interment will take place in the spring.
