Beloved wife of Walter. Loving mother of Bill (Anita), Cardigan; Wally (Ann Lynch), Stratford; John (Anita), Bedford; Carol (Mike), Cardigan; Betty (Lloyd) Murphy, Sydney, N.S.; Mary Lou (Colin Gray), Liverpool, N.S.; Sheila (Alan) Peters, Rollo Bay; Reg (Joanne), Cardigan; Peggy (Jeff) Porter, Darlings Island, N.B.; Preston (Susan), Cardigan; and James (Linda), Cardigan. Devoted grandmother of 29 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Dear sister of Len (Hilda) Fitzgerald, Mary Gauthier, Fran Burke, Jim Fitzgerald (Georgina), Dell Stewart (Bob), Gert Murphy (Bill) and sister-in-law of Susie Fitzgerald.
Predeceased by brother, Charlie and grandson, Jason Murphy.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Monday at 10 a.m., then to All Saint's Church, Cardigan, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the parish cemetery. Visitation: Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Please refrain from wearing scents due to family allergies.
