Clarence Chiasson

1933 - 2011 - Clarence Chiasson, 77, of Greater Lakeburn, NB, passed away on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011, at home. Born in St-Isidore, NB, he was the son of the late Jeremie and the late Ernestine (née: Losier) Chiasson. He was a retired member of Local 73 Boilermakers. Mr. Chiasson loved life and his family, enjoyed playing the guitar and travelling in his motor home to many bluegrass festivals. He was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or and St-Anselme parish. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette (née: Losier); two daughters: Ginette Chiasson (Mike), Louise (Gerry) LeBlanc; three sons: Gilles (Margot), Raymond (Della) and René (Paulette) all of St-Anselme; two sisters: Elizabeth Haché of Massachusetts and Suzanne Morais of St-Isidore, NB; two brothers: Paul (Paula) of Florida and Yvon of Ste.-Rose, NB; three sisters-in-law: Geraldine, Irma and Argentine; nine grandchildren: Nicholas, Marc, Julie, Jeremie, Martin, Justin, Stephanie, Melanie and Ryan; one great granddaughter, Mikayla as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers: Edmond, Guy, Georges and Roger.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, March 7th, 2011 at 11 am. Interment in Saint-Anselme parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Foundation “Cardiology Department” would be appreciated by the family.
