March 5, 1950 - March 2, 2011. – After a heroic battle with cancer, passed peacefully away in his own home in the presence of his loving family, Ernest Coady of Cape Broyle. Predeceased by his parents James and Josephine, sister Mildred, brothers Robert, Frank, Edward and James Jr., and father and mother-in-law James and Anita Ryan. Left to mourn his loving wife of 37 years, Eileen; his children: Ryan (Melissa), Joanne Kavanagh (Randy), Robert (Amanda), Michael (Lauren); his precious grandchildren whom he adored: Owen and Mia Coady, Jenna and Julia Kavanagh. Also leaving to mourn his brother Steve (Irene); sisters: Anne Malitz (Bob), Agnes Howard (John), Phyllis Walsh (Charlie), Catherine Billard (Vince), Doris Arsenault (Eric); sisters-in-law: Estelle and Ann Coady; brother-in-law Reg Ryan (Philomena), devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Fermeuse, Thursday and Friday from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 5 at Immaculate Conception Church, Cape Broyle.
