The family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) MacDonald who passed away May 23, 2009 wish to express our deepest gratitude to our family and friends, who telephoned, sent mass cards, letters of condolence, floral tributes, gifts of food and memorial donations in our mom\'s name. To those who visited the funeral home and attended the funeral. To those who travelled a distance to be with us, we are forever grateful. Thank you to Dr. P. Jackson for his care and guidance over the years. To Dr. McCormick and Dr. Critchley and the staff at the Cancer Center. To the VON especially granddaughter Karen Wilson for their care and guidance, as well the Palliative Care staff at CBRH. Thank you to Father Doug MacDonald for officiating at the funeral mass, to the pallbearers, readers, gift bearers, and altar servers and senior choir. Special thanks to Brent Macisaac for his wonderful solo \"I ask the Lord\" as requested by our mother and to Brian MacIsaac for his accompaniment. Thank you to the CWL (Parish of St. Leonard) for your comforting prayers and the KOC for providing the beautiful lunch. Sincere thanks to the professional staff of V.J. McGillivray for your kindness and thoughtfulness. To all who helped console us in any way, we will forever be grateful and you will always be remembered.
