Reginald Kearns
It is with great sadness that the family of Reginald Wayne Kearns announces his passing on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at age 50, after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Florence (Robichaud) Kearns and the late Donald W. Kearns. Reg will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Brody of Moncton, his mother Florence, of Moncton, four brothers: Don Kearns (Louise) of Bouctouche, Doug Kearns (Rainy) of Petitcodiac, Kevin Kearns (Andrea) of Fredericton and Mike Kearns (Patty) of Ammon; four sisters: Joanne Cormier (Paul) of Dieppe, Cynthia Bamford (Brian) of Berry Mills, Debbie (Kevin Smith) and Lisa of Moncton, as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Reg had formerly worked at Atlantic Logworks and particularly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
A private memorial service will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995). Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Reggie’s memory to The Brody Kearns Trust Fund (c/o 90 Briarwood Crescent, Moncton N.B. E1E 3X2) or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
