The death occurred at the Garden Home on Monday, March 7, 2011 of H. Claire McWade of Charlottetown, age 88 years.
Claire was a life time member of the Charlottetown Curling Club.
She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel McWade. She is survived by sisters and brothers, Mary C. (the late Wendell) Carr of Charlottetown, Ethel (Ernest) Brennan of Charlottetown, Terry (Theresa) McWade of Oshawa, ON, Pat (the late Mary Lynn) of Annapolis Royal, N.S., and Bert (Patricia) McWade of Pugwash, N.S.
She was predeceased by brothers, Gordon (the late Betty) McWade and Reverend Frederick McWade, O.M.I., and sister Ruth (Bill) MacDonald.
Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:15 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday 3-6 p.m.
