1940 - 2011 - Fred Lutes, 71, of Moncton, peacefully entered his eternal rest at his residence of 71 years, on Sunday March 6, 2011. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Winston R. and Ethel K. (Trites) Lutes. Fred was a full time farmer, taking over the family farm in 1962. He was a member of Mount Zion Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Lutz Mountain Heritage Foundation, MLD and Trites International. He was always ready to serve his church and his community with the resources God gave him. Fred will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Betty (Murray) and sons, Russell (Krista), Moncton, Duane (Debbie), Northampton; his grandchildren who brought him much joy, Logan, Lynden, Jayden and Eli of Moncton; Abram, Liam, Maria and Rachel, of Northampton; sister, Dawn and brother, Dale; special aunt, Lou (Trites) Rogers of Kingsclear; as well as extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Gary and Wayne; sisters-in-law, Barb (Wayne) and Ivy (Dale).
