It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald MacLeod on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
In his younger years, he owned and operated a barber shop and later was employed at the Acadian Lines with the maintenace department.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Lenore (Buist) MacLeod, Seaview Manor, Glace Bay; his stepdaughter, Phyllis (Gordon) Wareham; their two children, Graham Wareham, Halifax, and April Wareham, Sydney; as well as five granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his two stepdaughters, Dorothy Young and Helen Rideout.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation of funeral services. Interment will take place at a later date.
