KENNY (Murphy), ELIZABETH MARY – 89 – of Dartmouth

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother at Ocean View Manor, Eastern Passage on March 6, 2011. Born in Colliers, NF on May 17th, 1921 to Martin & Rachael (Walsh) Murphy. She was truly the heart of our loving family. Her terrific sense of humour coupled with a great love of all that is Irish - we will miss her sweet smile & sparkling Irish eyes. Her deep faith, strength and devotion as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & mother-in-law was an inspiration to her family; Betty Stack, Anita (Ellery) Oicle, Shirley (Bill) Saunders, Ed (Trudy) Kenny, Matt (Gerry) Kenny, Marian Kenny, Joanne (Larry) Ghaney, Sandy (Dave) Giannou; Grandchildren: Michael, Chris (Lori), Jill (Ray), Ronnie, Teddy, Shannon, Nicholas (Laine), Jessica, Gina (Graham), Jason(Angela), Lauren & Jennifer; Great-Grandchildren: Liam, Reid. Pre-deceased by her husband, Edward(Ted) and son-in-law, Robert Stack. Her beautiful spirit touched many as she journeyed through her almost 90 years of life. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Claire Nowlan, the staff, volunteers and friends at Ocean View Manor for the exceptional care and love, especially in her last hours. This support was also extended to her family. The support of all of our dear friends has also been greatly appreciated during this time. A special thank you to Fr.
