It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Marlene Denis on Monday, March 7th, 2011 at the age of 65 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 47 years John Denis, their children Renea (Tena) and Steve (Lisa); grandchildren Rachel and Rylie; and sisters Lee (Dan) and Vi.

Also survived by her other siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Edna was predeceased by her mother Ethel Cooper and three brothers.

Edna was caring, intelligent, and extremely hardworking with a wonderful sense of style. She was greatly devoted and supportive of her children and grandchildren sharing in their activities and accomplishments over the years.
When Edna was not in the loving company of her family, she took great pride and passion using her talents alongside John creating beautiful landscapes and surroundings in their yard and working on the many projects around the home.

A Celebration of Edna's Life will be held Saturday, March 19th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 4946 Uplands Drive.
