Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, Roger Vail, aged 53 years. Predeceased by his father-in-law Charlie Parsons and sister-in-law Sharon Kelly. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 30 years, Gale; son Trevor and daughter Amy (Dwayne); grandson Logan and granddaughter Mackenzie; parents Bill and Ruth; sister Lynn (Gary); brother Rob (Donna); mother-in-law Anne Parsons; sisters-in-law: Brenda (Harold), Cathy (Paul) and June (Gerry); brothers-in-law: Barry (Karen) and Jeff (Eleanor), along with his favourite hunting companion, Brandy, as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dialysis staff at both the Health Sciences Centre and the Waterford Hospital for the care shown to Roger during his time there. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
