Peacefully, at the Palliative Care Unit, Prince Edward Home, on Saturday, March 5, 2011, of Mr. Sonny Caulfield of Charlottetown and formerly of Montreal, Que., Toronto, Ont. and London, England.
Dear father of Reid Caulfield (Lisa Baldwin) of Los Angeles, California and Sarah Caulfield (Sean Brady) of Hove, United Kingdom and her mother, Susan McLean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Georgina (nee Reid) Caulfield and his sister, Sheena Ring and brother, William Caulfield.
Grand entertainer, jazz piano player and bandleader, recording artist, raconteur and alumnus of CBC Television and Radio ("Islands & Princesses", "Elwood Glover’s Luncheon Date").
A memorial celebration to be held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in April, 2011.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian National Institute For The Blind.
